Slowly figuring out Asterix's summer travels for 2014. The details are as firm as Jell-O, currently as follows:
- Departure in early July from Sointula
- A couple days in Port Hardy to install a through-hull and provisioning
- Twelve to fourteen days sailing to Ketchikan
- A couple days in Ketchikan for R & R and reprovisioning
- A week's sailing to Juneau
Looks like the crew will be myself, Adrian, and Adrian's friend Kyle.
In the meantime, Jim's been busy getting the boat ready. The stanchions have all been re-bedded, an autopilot has been installed, and a new breaker panel and wiring overhaul.
I've determined that the word "boat" is really a FLEA (Four Letter Extended Acronym). BOAT - Bring Out Another Thousand ($).
